What brought you together
I. The meeting
- AThe Emperor
- BTemperance
The energy that made you meet and the start of the story, with its bright sides and the ones to keep an eye on. Useful even if the relationship hasn’t started yet.
Free to read A · 4 The Emperor
People tied to arcana 4 cannot be called romantic; in relationships they are very pragmatic and not inclined to show emotions. At the start of a relationship, they rarely express their feelings. Even in love, the energy of the Emperor makes itself felt, because in the family they feel the need to control everything. They do not like surprises; their life is planned, and making changes can have consequences. Questioning decisions already made can be costly.
Getting to know each other and meeting
The meeting of this couple can feel like an interview with a future superior. People with the energy of the Emperor speak little, are always in a hurry and keep their ideas to themselves. They are easy to recognize by their determined gaze, their calculated way of talking and their serious tone. You might meet at work, during an interview, in meetings or in some social institution.
Starting a relationship: pros and cons
Couples with arcana 4 are practically unable to let themselves go completely to their feelings. They always keep control of the situation, and are very reserved and not expansive in words or emotions. Still, like the Emperor, they can fall in love and decide to hand over power to their Empress.
The positive side
The couples create a solid family with a well-defined hierarchy and structure of subordination. Naturally, they take the role of head of the family, even if unofficially. They look after the family on the material level, ensuring a good standard of living. They control the members of the family, but without going too far. When difficulties arise, they fight to the end to keep the marriage going, using all their strength.
The negative side
If they cannot fulfill themselves at work, they can become real domestic tyrants at home. They criticize family members endlessly, and are extremely stingy and rational. They never talk about love and feelings, and reason only in a logical way. If they lose their power, they may start to consciously destroy the family. They plan in detail how to solve the situation, but never start putting their plans into practice.
The couple reading also includes B · 14 Temperance, and the other four zones.

Why us?
The Knot Your karmic bond
Where your bond comes from: your two Karmic Tails, the couple’s tail and the point where they touch. For those who feel they’ve known the other person forever: kindred souls, twin flames, bonds that return.
The first chapter
The knot of the mirror
You have the same energy at the center, or in the same points of the two Matrices: that’s why you recognized each other so quickly. It’s the bond many call a soulmate, the one where you understand each other without explaining. But the mirror also shows flaws, and the other person’s are often yours. Arguments start when one sees in the other what they won’t accept in themselves. The work of this knot is to stop correcting each other and to grow, each on your own, side by side.
The recognition · 9 The Hermit
You recognized each other in silence. With the other you don’t need to fill the pauses: just being there is enough. The bond carries a memory of searching and shared solitude, and you often found each other when neither of you was looking. It asks you to respect each person’s space: the right distance keeps the recognition alive, the wrong one puts it out.
