Arcana 4 symbolizes an influential person with an important social standing and strong charisma. The main characteristics of this energy include:
- Ambition a desire for success and power.
- A rational approach a way of handling situations with logic.
- Control a need to manage what happens around them. The Emperor is a convinced pragmatist, with very steady emotions, authoritative and respected.
The person's state in the positive
- Power and success This person manages to gain power and reach success. They deserve authority in the group, and the final decisions always rest with them, at home and at work. This energy belongs to psychologically mature people who know how to succeed.
- Authoritative leader Arcana 4 doesn’t need to hold a high official position. They can also be an informal leader, respected and able to guide. They know how to delegate tasks, oversee the work and finish what they start.
- Rationality This person doesn’t allow themselves to show emotions. Even in difficult situations, they stay calm and rational, with clear, coordinated actions. They manage money well and try to grow their capital.
- Order Arcana 4 values order and tries to avoid any chance event that could bring chaos into life. Their ideal is clear execution of tasks, a strict hierarchy and tough discipline. They are good at negotiating and building systems.
- Protection This powerful energy offers good protection and the ability to overcome obstacles on the way to their goals. In almost any situation, the Emperor can defend themselves and what they hold dear.
- Family, clan Sooner or later, this person becomes the head of the family or clan, establishing a strict hierarchy. Gender makes no difference here. Arcana 4 is ready to do whatever it takes for their family to live in comfort.
The person's state in the negative
- Control or tyranny If the energy develops in the negative, the authoritative leader becomes a tyrant or a controller. They start demanding that others carry out their will flawlessly, ignoring personal goals and interests. This hits family members most of all. The more others put up with this behavior, the worse it gets.
- Haughtiness If this person reaches certain successes without working on personal growth, they become very arrogant. They overrate their own importance and judge others unfairly, making it hard to communicate with them. In adolescence, they may fight with their parents, especially with their father.
- Fear of failing At times, this person is overwhelmed by the fear of failing. Afraid that a sudden interference could ruin their perfect plan, the fear can turn into a phobia, draining a lot of energy and damaging their authority and position.
- Femininity When the Arcana is tied to a woman, she can easily lose her feminine side and become a real “woman in a suit jacket.” She might choose a weak partner to control and manipulate.
- Tension in relationships Communicating with an Emperor in the negative becomes impossible over time. As the years go by, their character gets worse and their demands grow ever stricter. A delusion of grandeur develops, making any interaction extremely unpleasant.

Frequently asked questions
About your Matrix
How is the Destiny Matrix calculated?
From the birth date: day, month and year become energies from 1 to 22, and from those every other point of the octagram is calculated. The steps one by one are on the page about calculating by hand.
What do the numbers mean?
Each number is one of the 22 energies, with the names of the Marseille Tarot: 8 is Justice, 11 is Strength. Each energy has a positive and a negative side and changes shade depending on the zone it’s in.
What is the Karmic Tail?
They’re the three energies at the bottom of the octagram: they tell a task that comes from before this life. There are 26 possible combinations, each with a name and a story.
What does the complete reading contain?
All the zones of your Matrix explained on your date, with the positive side, the negative side and what to do for each energy: a PDF that arrives by email within 48 hours.
Why do other sites give different numbers?
Our calculation follows the formulas of the method, checked point by point against the books. Some sites use other letters or reduce the sums in another way: that’s why a point can change.
